Hidey Ho Everyone! This weeks amazing sketch at Twisted Sketches is live and ready for you to relish and interpret! This week’s twist was “circles”, any how, any way. As usual, I have a hard time working with circles. I don’t know what it is about them, but I tend to shy away from the round. I can thank Anam and the other Twisted Sisters for making me work out side of THE BOX! PAHAHAHA! Ok, ok! That was beyond cheesy, but the point being, these women are absolutely inspiring. The push my creativity to the limit and sometimes, beyond!
Anyway, I’m sure you’re ready to see the page by now. I used 2 photos from our semi-family trip to Utah. The Mr. was away on a training exercise, so he was not able to go with us. Such is life in the military. The beautiful lake behind us is Brighton Lake and this is the one, the only, world famous Brighton Ski Resort in Utah. It’s absolutely breath-taking, serene, thought provoking, and awe-inspiring.
The absolutely delicious products I used are mostly Bo Bunny’s “Olivia” line. I was pleasantly surprised with this line. At first, I wasn’t to keen on it. Once I saw it in person, I HAD TO HAVE IT! The colors are just so rich and warm. I love how rustic and yet feminine this line looks and was extremely surprised about how versatile it truly is. I am definitely going to have to stock up on these. The large lettering is, of course, American Crafts Thickers, which have become an absolutely necessity. The teeny tiny letters are by Adornit. I also have some Cosmo Cricket “Circa 1934” tucked in there as well. This was another really surprising line in real life; very versatile and rich in color. Other products used are stamps (I don’t remember who made them, but you can get them at Michaels), Stickles, chalks, and ink by Versafine.
Thank you so much for taking a peek! Please, come check us out over at Twisted Sketches and let us inspire your creativity….with a twist!
