This week’s sketch over at Twisted Sketches was a DOoZy! I don’t usually work with circles, so this week’s sketch presented a bit of a challenge for me! Not to mention the twist being “hole”, any how or any way! Oy! I kept it pretty literal as far as my sketch interpretation. Maybe I’ll try a bit more to work with some roundness!
This page is another addition to a wedding album I’m doing up for the lovely couple. My friend, Dawn, got me hooked on Walnut Ink sprays by Tsukineko. They are a nice, subtle addition onto the page.

My product list for this page is pretty basic. Patterned paper is SEI (Black Orchid). Cardstock and chainlink border are both Bazzill. Unfortunately, I do not know who made the doilie. I used Tsukineko’s Walnut Ink in Eucalyptus. The circles are embossed using my Cuttlebug and highlighted with lime green Stickles. I enhanced the doilie to pick up the green matting with Tim Holtz Distress Inkpad in Peeled Paint. The alphas are American Crafts Thickers and those fabulous chandelier stamps are Inkadinkado. I used Adirondack paint dabbers to paint the border.
Thanks for taking a peek! If you try out this week’s sketch, don’t forget to link it up in the comments section of the Twisted Sketches site! We’d love to see what you create!
