Bride to be

As I keep plugging away at this wedding album, something has occurred to me.  I had originally set out to do this album rather elaborately and keeping with the super formal style.  After attempting to change my “style” to accomplish this vision, I have decided to just keep it within MY style!  Fun, flirty, and just tucking stuff where I can to create the visual interest and keep it something from me.  I’m sure she’ll love it either way!

This is the latest page for that album.  The picture of the bride before her makeup was done.  Trust me.  She is naturally beautiful and the “after” picture really isn’t much different!

I used some different techniques on this page.  I love my alcohol inks and the effect they add to an embellishment.  I used the “stream” color along with the silver mixative on the transparencies and just the blue on the rhinestones in the swirl and on the chipboard boarder.

The tag was one I had made last week and figured it would go great on this page.

As for the flower arrangement, these lovelies are by Petaloo and are the Color Me Crazy flowers.  I used Glimmer Mists on them except for the white ones.  I left those plain.  After spraying the purple mist, I stamped using a stamp by Inkadinkadoo and ink by Ranger.  The beautiful leaves are from Michaels from the floral department!  They were such a wonderful find, especially for $0.59 each!  I just cut the sprig into pieces and tucked them in!  (I love tucking!!)  The vintage buttons were sent to me from my wonderful friend, Dawn and I think they are from A Million Memories.

The other supplies used are BoBunny “Peacock Lane”, ZVA Creative flourish, American Crafts and Making Memories lettering, brads, Recollections chipboard border, and Little Yellow Bicycle transparencies.  As usual, please feel free to leave a bit of love and I always appreciate you taking the time to look!

GORGEOUS! Love the "bold" color choice- the purple and turquoise is formal but energetic and super modern. Those sparkly ferns are totally enthralling! 🙂 Love the flowers with the pearl jewel brad centers too.
