Hi everyone! This page is being uploaded a week late because we were on vacation in Utah! Talk about a fabulous Christmas! We had Christmas with my mom and then got to enjoy the world’s best powder! We got some great snowboarding action in at Brighton, Solitude, and The Canyons. The kiddos had a blast enjoying their first “white Christmas”. They got to go sledding, made a little snowman, and had a snowball fight!
Anyway, back to the task at hand. Last week’s Twisted Sketch was “celebrate”. I decided to use a fun photo of my husband and I at the 235th USMC Birthday Ball. It’s not unusual to look around and see several people with flasks. We used one our friend’s flasks for a fun photo. Of course, there were antics and debauchery! A ball wouldn’t be a ball without some crazy silliness!

I used BoBunny’s fabulous “Crush” line for this page. I LOVE red, black, white color schemes and thought they would be perfect with this photo.
These close-ups show a lot of the detail work of the paper and of the page. I’m not a big fan of stitching, but I thought it would be the perfect touch for this page. I just used a running stitch and 2 different colored flosses. It took a bit of time to complete, but I love the effect it adds to the page.
Other products used are MAMBI transparencies, stickles, rhinestones, eyelets, and ribbon. Thanks for taking a peek and leaving some love! Please come visit me and the other Twisted Sisters and let us give you some inspiration….with a twist!
