Here’s a bit of a look-see…

Hi everyone!  Well, as I’m sure most of you know, Anam Stubbington (creator of Twisted Sketches) launched a cool new app through iTunes called Sketches2Scrapbook.  It’s a revolutionary application in that there are no others of its kind.  This superbly designed app allows inspiration to go where ever you go.  If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, then creative sketches with examples are literally right at your fingertips.  It’ll save some room in that crop tote where you normally store your laptop or magazines!  That means, more room for more toys and supplies!  Who wouldn’t just LOVE that?!

Anyway, we are now allowed to showcase our actual pages we compiled for this app!  Below, are 2 pages I submitted for it.

“Hubba Hubba”  Sketches2Scrapbook

Here’s one of the pages I did.  This is of my handsome husband.  I just LOVE this picture of him.  I used BoBunny’s “Grease Monkey” line which was perfect for his personality.  He’s a bit of a “gear head” and his hobby is fixing up cars.  Of course, this sketch was inspired by one of the sketches in the Sketches2Scrapbook app through iTunes.

The second page has some detailed close-ups with it.  I LOVE how this page turned out.

“Birthday Girl!” Sketches2Scrapbook

This my oldest daughter’s 10th birthday.  I used regular gift wrapping ribbon and wove it through the flower clusters.  I think it turned out so adorable!  Here are some close ups.

I used some My Mind’s Eye, Maya Road, American Crafts Thickers, gift wrapping ribbon, Adirondack paint dabbers, and Doodlebug glitter.  I don’t remember who the brads are by, but aren’t they adorable?

If you want to see the sketches that inspired these pages, then go on over to iTunes and get yourself the Sketches2Scrapbook app.  You can also go to the Sketches2Scrapbook site, www.Sketches2Scrapbook.com and take a look at some awesome visuals of the app.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

*All pages are inspired by sketches in the Sketches2Scrapbook app available through iTunes.

Oh I'm really liking that second bright & pretty page! You know I have those exact same flowers & have never used them! I've always thought them to be too bright! But you made them work perfectly! Also, that page on your hubby is fabulous. What a great masculine page & using pages that reflect your husbands' personality is a great idea. I don't have an iphone or ipod…I'm a blackberry user (or crapberry as some people call it, hehehehe) or else I'd check out that app you mentioned…if it ever comes out for blackberry–do remember to announce it.

    Super work!
