|“Us” Sketch #063 (twist: fold)|
Hi everyone! I am back with a brand new AWESOME sketch from Twisted Sketches! This week’s twist was particularly challenging for me. The twist was “fold”–which I NEVER use on pages! I must say, I am quite pleased with how the page turned out!
I mostly used Cosmo Cricket’s “Girl Friday” line. I have had this line just laying around pretty much since it came out and finally decided to use it! The borders are Sassafras Lass’s “Nerdy Bird” and I punched the border using a lace border punch by Martha Stewart. The flourish is a lovely find I found at Etsy.com and the wood bird embellishment is actually an old brooch! How cool is it recycle old jewelry onto a page??!! LOVE IT! The folded flower is just plain ol’ yellow cardstock which I inked using a cat’s eye chalk pad. The chipboard butterfly is by Pink Paislee and it’s from their “Captivating” line.
If you ever need that creative boost or just want stretch your creative arms, legs, and minds, then you should DEFINITELY come check us out over at Twisted Sketches. Let Anam and the rest of the Twisted Sisters show you ideas to add that pizzazz and pinache to your pages!
