Hi everyone! I really need to be better about staying on top of this blog outside of DT work! The latest sketch over at Twisted Sketches is an awesome one with a simple twist–flower! I think I have really started to like using multiple photos on a page. Of course, it’s made a lot easier when you have a sketch too! I absolutely LOVE these photos of my son, Jeremiah. He loves sportin’ his mohawk and when the Chargers play, I color the tips blue (GO BOLTS!). The products used are Fancy Pants “Rough and Tough” and Making Memories “Just Chillin'” die cuts. The ribbon is JoAnn’s and the chalking is ColorBox chalkpads in “Primary”. I matted the photos on metallic shimmery paper by The Paper Company and the doodling is done using my new best friend, Sharpie. I’ve been tweaking around with my “style” and trying to come up with some fabulous pages that are “frame-worth”. I definitely think this one is one of them! My plan is to change one of my walls into a display wall of sorts. I have one page done of my youngest and now my son. I just need to pound out a page for my other two daughter and, of course, the hubs and I.
